Non Surgical Face Lift

Non surgical face lift procedures are generally non-invasive, utilizing creams or other components which work with the skin to reduce or eliminate face wrinkles. Depending upon the procedure, effects can be long-term or temporary. Creams, injections, laser therapy, and chemical peels are some of the most popular options for reducing face wrinkles and non surgical face lift.

Face Wrinkles and Non Surgical Face Lift

Creams are extremely popular for temporary reduction of face wrinkles. Wrinkle reducing creams will have varying degrees of success depending upon the ingredients, condition of the skin, and length of use. Retinal, hydroxyacids, copper peptids, and tea extracts are some of the ingredients that may provide noticeable differences when used as a face lift or neck lift. Most are beneficial to face wrinkles.

Non Surgical Face Lift and Face Lift Surgery

Botox injections have gained wide acceptance as an alternative to face lift surgery. A protein complex derived from a bacterium, Botox acts as a paralytic on facial muscles that cause face wrinkles.

The resulting relaxation of these muscles smoothes lines and wrinkles. Results are immediately noticeable, with continued improvement in smoothness over the following days. Results are temporary, lasting approximately 3 to 4 months. This procedure can provide benefits as a mini facelift following traditional surgery.

Non Surgical Face Lift and Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a fairly recent procedure used for face lifts. It applies the same basic principle used in non-surgical liposuction of utilizing heat to initiate a response from the skin. Referred to as Thermage or Titan, the procedure uses infrared or radio frequency energy to heat the dermis, this results in the skin reacting with a healing response.

The healing response encourages the skin to produce collagen, and to modify existing collagen, causing the supportive underlying skin tissues to contract. The result is a smoother, uplifted appearance to the skin.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels continue to be widely used today for non surgical face lift . Using chemical solutions to remove the damaged outer layer of skin, a chemical peel can reduce face wrinkles and eliminate blemishes. Phenol, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), and alphahydroxy acids (AHA’s), are used as the peeling compounds, a precise formulation of one or all three is adjusted according to the individuals needs of the patient. An AHA peel is the mildest and the quickest to perform non surgical face lift, TCA peels are used for a medium-depth peel, and a Phenol peel is the strongest and deepest of the peels.

A non surgical face lift, a more natural faclift is a good alternative for those individuals seeking cost effective and non-invasive procedures for improving the skin and avoiding cosmetic surgery.
